RCA Coach Development Grants
The recipients of this year’s RCA Coach Development Grants were announced at the January 2018 RCA Coaches Conference. Congratulations are in order for Rowing BC, Lillooet Rowing Club, Rockies Rowing Club and Vancouver Rowing Club who will all be receiving this funding in 2018 to support on-going coach development along the NCCP coaching pathway.

Sport BC President’s Awards
Each year at the Annual Sport BC Athlete Awards, each provincial sport organization is given the opportunity to nominate one individual for the President’s Award. This award recognizes someone who shows the spirit of volunteerism, and whose dedication, energy and commitment contribute to the development of their sport in the province in British Columbia.
Rowing BC will be honouring Andrea Lynch of the Burnaby Lake Rowing Club with this award for her considerable contributions to the success of the 2016 and 2017 RCA National Rowing Championships and Canada Cup Regattas. Andrea is a pleasure to work with, and Rowing BC is so glad to have her involved in these important provincial initiatives.
