POSITION OVERVIEW
You will be responsible for coaching in the Juniors Competitive Program and the Recreational Program.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES
• Instruct and support the Junior’s program in a fun, social and competitive environment
• Instruct the recreational rowers in a fun and social environment
• Relay knowledge to the athletes with a sense of excitement and passion
• Assist in the maintenance of the club equipment
• Ensure athletes adhere to all IRC safety guidelines on and off the water
• Work with the Executive to ensure programs are running efficiently

QUALIFICATIONS
• Completed RCA Learn to Row Instructor and RCA Coach Weekend 1 and 2 or planning to complete.
• Pleasure Craft Operators Card
• Standard First Aid, CPR C/AED training completed before starting employment with IRC
• Willing to complete a Criminal Record Check
• Strong organizational, communication and time management skills
• Previous rowing experience
• Previous couching experience is an asset.

WORK SCHEDULE
January 2- March 30
• Mondays and Wednesdays from 5-7pm (Juniors)
• Saturdays 8-12 (Juniors and Recreational)
• Sundays 9-11 (Recreational)

April 1-September 30
• Mondays and Wednesdays 5-7pm (Juniors)
• Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm (Recreational)
• Saturdays 8am-12 (Juniors and Recreational)
• Sundays 9am-11 (Recreational)
• Plus Learn-to-Row sessions (schedule TBA)

Additional hours maybe picked up if requested.

Inlet Rowing Club offers competitive wages, commensurate with experience.
