The 2022 Rowing BC AGM will take place at the Sandman Signature Airport Hotel and Resort (10251 St. Edward’s Drive, Richmond) on November 26-27th, 2022.
Formal notice of the 2022 Rowing BC Annual General Meeting – released November 5, 2022
The AGM will run on Sunday, November 27th from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by additional Rowing BC Conference sessions until 11:45 AM. Coffee, refreshments, and the sign in table will open at 9:00 AM.
The business of the meeting shall include:
- Acceptance of the auditor’s report and financial statements for 2021-2022
- Appointment of auditors for 2022-2023
- Election of President and Director at Large

- Nominating Committee Endorsed Slate of Candidates – circulated October 3, 2022

For those unable to attend in-person, the AGM portion of the day will be available by Zoom. Register to receive a Zoom link HERE.
Register to attend in two steps:
- Confirm your attendance at the full Rowing BC Conference by completing the registration form HERE.
- Complete and submit a Voting Designate or Proxy Form (additional information below) if you will be the voting member from a Rowing BC Member Organization at the AGM.
Voting Designate and Proxy Form
While anyone from the BC rowing community is welcome and encouraged to attend the AGM, only one representative from each Rowing BC member organization will have voting rights at the meeting.
Each rowing organization that will have a member present to vote on their behalf must complete a Voting Designate Form to indicate and confirm which individual will carry this authority.
If a rowing organization is unable to have a member present at the AGM, they may choose to have someone else vote on their behalf. To register a proxy to carry the authority to vote on behalf of your rowing organization, you must complete a Voting Proxy Form.
Each rowing organization intending to vote at the AGM must submit a Voting Designate Form or a Voting Proxy Form via email to memberservices@rowingbc.ca by Monday, November 21, 2022.
