The BC Summer Games is a four-day event that takes place every two years throughout the province of BC, and provides one of the few opportunities for athletes to experience a multi-sport games. Rowing has been a major component to the games since 2010. The rowing events provide athletes the opportunity to represent their zone and compete in multiple competitions that promote physical fitness, individual achievement, and team building. For the first time, the 2022 BC Summer Games will allow rowers to compete in either a U17 or U19 category, expanding the team size to a possible 12 athletes per Zone.
