SUMMARY:SELECTION EVENT: BC Summer Games Zone 3
DESCRIPTION:The BC Summer Games is a four-day event that takes place every two years\, providing one of the few opportunities for Junior athletes to experience a multi-sport games. \nAt the 2026 BC Summer Games\, over 3000 athletes\, coaches\, and officials will participate across 19 sports hosted by the City of Kelowna. Rowing will be represented by 8 Zone teams\, each consisting of 2 coaches and 8 U17 athletes (4 male and 4 female). Athletes from each Zone will race in the Men’s and Women’s 1x\, Men’s and Women’s 2x\, Men’s and Women’s 4x\, and Mixed 4x event categories on a 1000m course on Swan Lake in Vernon\, BC. \nFind out which Zone you live in HERE. \n\nZone Selection Events\nEach zone has a process for receiving Expressions of Interest from eligible athletes\, along with an in-person selection event that will be used to select the 8 athletes for the Zone team.
