SUMMARY:WORKSHOP: Level 2 Umpire Clinic
DESCRIPTION:Level 2 Umpire Clinic\n\nAssistant (Level 1) Umpires – If you have been attending regattas this Spring and have had the chance to:\n\ndo at least one shift each in the positions of Control\, Finish\, Start\, and Judge at the Start; and\nobserve (ride along) with a Race Umpire\,\n\nthen you may be ready to take the Level 2 Umpire Clinic! \nThe Level 2 Umpire Clinic provides an opportunity to delve deeper into each of the four positions you have already tried\, and equips you to also be in the Race Umpire position. After completion of the Level 2 Clinic you will become an Associate Umpire\, ready to take on additional roles at your next regatta. \nThere is no cost to attend the Level 2 Umpire Clinic. \nNote: Each clinic requires 4 participants registered before the registration deadline to proceed. \nSeptember Hybrid Learning Option \n\nWednesday\, September 3rd 7:00-9:00 PM (via Zoom)\nThursday\, September 11th 7:00-9:00 PM (via Zoom)\nSaturday\, September 13th 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (In-person\, Victoria – Rowing BC Office 100-4636 Elk Lake Drive)\n\nREGISTER HERE for the September Hybrid Learning Option. \nRegistration deadline: Friday\, August 22nd \nRowing BC’s Office and the Umpire Clinician facilitating this clinic will be in touch with you to provide final details in the week leading up to this clinic. \n\nHave questions?
