DESCRIPTION:Date: August 8-9th\nLocation: Nelson\, BC\nHosts: Rowing BC\, Nelson Rowing Club\nTopic: Junior Development\nMinimum Participants: 20\nCost to participate: TBD \nThis camp has been created to compliment attending the Nelson Regatta on Saturday\, August 8th. Following the regatta\, participants will have an opportunity to shower/change before returning to begin the camp aspects of the weekend. Saturday afternoon/evening will include a yoga session specifically designed with rowers in mind\, and a technique session led by Rowing BC’s Coach Coordinator\, Martin George. These dryland sessions will allow participants to physically recover from their race day while making use of the time for other types of learning and development. Sunday will include two on-water sessions providing participants with individualized technical assessment and opportunities for fine-tuning. Participants are expected to use the equipment they had provided for racing the day before. This is also an opportunity to further strengthen the connections between participants from different clubs throughout the Interior of BC. \nWeekend Overview:  \nSaturday\, August 8th\n4:30PM – 6:00PM Nelson Recreation Centre \nSunday\, August 11th\n7:30AM – 12PM Nelson Rowing Club \nRegistration: \nRegistration is available on a first-come-first-served basis.
