DESCRIPTION:Level 2 Umpire Clinic\n\nAssistant (Level 1) Umpires – If you attended a few regattas last season and have had the chance to:\n\ndo at least one shift each in the positions of Control\, Finish\, Start\, and Judge at the Start; and\nobserve (ride along) with a Race Umpire\,\n\nthen you may be ready to take the Level 2 Umpire Clinic! \nThe Level 2 Umpire Clinic provides an opportunity to delve deeper into each of the four positions you have already tried\, and equips you to also be in the Race Umpire position. We are crafting an agenda of topics that will be approached in an interactive and collaborative way\, ensuring you can fully engage with each of the topics in a way that is relevant to you. We also look forward to using this day to celebrate some of the notable accomplishments of individual umpires over the past year\, and will be enjoying a catered lunch to show our appreciation of the entire umpire community! \nA complete agenda will be shared in the New Year. In the meantime\, please use the link below to complete the Annual Umpire Seminar registration form so we can plan with accurate numbers. \nComplete your registration form HERE.\n\nRowing BC Umpire Committee Elections\nDuring the Annual Umpire Seminar\, an election will be held to select up to 6 members for the 2026 Rowing BC Umpire Committee.\n\nRegistered\, Licensed Umpires who have actively participated in regattas during the previous year are eligible for election to the Rowing BC Umpire Committee. Ideally\, there will be representation on the Committee from at least two of the three regions of the province (Vancouver Island\, Lower Mainland and Interior). DESCRIPTION:This camp is specifically designed for U17 athletes with an interest in representing their Zone at the 2026 BC Summer Games in July. Come train alongside other U17 athletes and learn what to expect from the BC Summer Games selection and competition process.\n\nThis is a one-day\, full-day camp running from 8 AM – 3 PM on Sunday\, February 22 hosted at Shawnigan Lake School (1975 Renfrew Rd\, Shawnigan Lake).
