DESCRIPTION:Race Around the Rock hosted by Salt Spring Island Rowing Club.  \nLocation: Salt Spring Island \nDescription: \nThe event consists of an 88km relay race around Salt Spring Island and is appropriate for coastal rowing/open-water shells (see Rules and Regulations for boat specs) for participants in the 4x\, 4x+\, and 2x. A boat can have a solo crew or multiple crews. All boats must abide by FISA coastal boat standards. \nThis is a relay-style race where teams are made up of multiple rowers from the same club or a composite crew of rowers. \nThe event is intended to bring together coastal rowers from across BC\, Canada\, and the Western US.
