CAMP: Development Camp (Victoria)

November 14, 2025 - November 16, 2025

November 14-16 Camp Details

OVERVIEW

Come join BC’s top identified Junior athletes at the Rowing BC Junior Development Camp held at Elk Lake in Victoria November 14-16, 2025.

Rowing BC Camps are designed to bring together the province’s top junior rowing athletes for a series of development-focused training opportunities throughout the year. The first camp in this series will serve as an introduction to performance rowing within the province, providing athletes with a chance to showcase their skills, receive expert coaching, and connect with other talented juniors across British Columbia.

In addition to on-water training and technical skill development, the camp offers physiological testing protocols, including sub-maximal step tests, to help athletes and coaches better understand fitness levels, monitor progress, and guide individualized training plans. These camps also play a key role in exploring potential future crews for provincial and national events, giving athletes an early opportunity to be considered for higher-level competition.

This camp marks the beginning of a structured development pathway aimed at identifying and nurturing emerging rowing talent, fostering a strong, connected, and high-performing junior rowing community in BC.
