Safety… Is Your Club Prepared For An Emergency?

Hosted by Marine Search and Rescue specialist, Gerry Berry, this session is designed to highlight essential steps in being able to respond to various emergency situations, with an emphasis on solutions that would be applicable to both clubs and various regattas. There will be 3 brief examples of different emergency situations, to highlight how emergency planning is an essential component in ensuring safety in our sport. There will be time for open discussion, intended to facilitate solutions to improving safety at your club.

Note: this session is part of the Rowing BC 2016 Annual General Meeting. Although open to the public, space is limited for this session and priority will be given to those who attend the morning Annual General Meeting.
