RCA Come and Try

RCA is excited to launch its new program, Come and Try, that is now available to clubs across the country. This program allows clubs and organizations to host drop-in events for first time rowers in a supervised and safe setting for all participants.

A Come and Try event is an opportunity for clubs to promote rowing within their communities, reaching out to people interested to introduce their programs and demonstrate the first steps of the sport. For the first time, clubs and organizations will be able to hose non-members on the water at events where insurance coverage is guaranteed for all participants.

To host a Come and Try event, clubs will register their events in advance with RCA and submit a payment of $50 to receive coverage for all participants. With the single fee, clubs can host as many participants at an event as attend.
