Invictus Games Vancouver Whistler 2025 is less than a year away! You may have heard that Harry and Meghan were in Vancouver last week. After the pomp of the “One Year to Go” events, the Games hosted a community event in which participants had the chance to try out four of the sports that will be part of the Games.

Rowing BC, along with representatives for sitting volleyball, wheelchair basketball, and wheelchair curling, were at the Seaforth Armoury on Family Day to introduce members of the community to these Invictus Games sports. People of all ages were guided through the ways that rowing could work for them, including a high level rower from the 1970s who can now see a path back to the sport!

Huge thanks go out to volunteers Erin, Tate, Michael, Katrina, and Danielle for their help in making it a great day for so many people!

Be on the lookout for more community events leading up to the Invictus Games February 8-16, 2025. For more information, check out their website.
