REGATTA: BC Provincial Championships

BC Provincial Championships hosted by Rowing BC.
Location: Burnaby Lake, Burnaby
Description: This new addition of a 2000m event is intended to be the pinnacle event of the Summer season for all BC athletes. The date has been selected to also enable this event to be the final preparation for BC athletes attending the Royal Canadian Henley.
Objectives:
- Provide excellent competitive racing opportunity
- Final competition preparation for crews attending the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta in August
- Serve as a team training and racing opportunity for U21 athletes for Team BC attending Canada Cup in August
- Establish ranking list of athletes to be supported for BC Development Carding
- Establish pre-ranking Team BC list for 2023 National Rowing Championships
