RCA Excellence Awards

A highlight of the RCA Excellence Awards is always the President’s Award. This year, that honour went to BC’s own Simon Litherland.

The President of False Creek Rowing Club was given the award for his work in building the club into a vibrant community. Simon’s dedication to Grow Rowing projects for under-served communities has facilitated tremendous diversification of rowing in the community.

Also recognized at the RCA Excellence Awards were Long Service Awards include several from BC.

15 Years – Neil Bevan, Maple Bay Rowing Club; Susan Macdonald, Maple Bay Rowing Club.

20 Years – Pat Durose, Maple Bay Rowing Club; Janice Mason, OARCA Coastal Rowing

25 Years – Sheree Moffatt, Maple Bay Rowing Club; Cheryl Thibodeau, Maple Bay Rowing Club

30 Years – Linda Milne, Maple Bay Rowing Club
